Frequently Asked Questions

What issues do you work with?
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, existential concerns, and a general search for meaning or direction. My approach is grounded in existential psychotherapy, which means I focus on understanding your unique experience and helping you explore what matters most to you.

What is existential psychotherapy?
Existential psychotherapy is a relational approach that explores themes like freedom, responsibility, meaning, isolation, and choice. It doesn’t offer quick fixes but invites reflection and supports you in facing life’s challenges with greater clarity and self-understanding.

Do you offer online sessions?
I offer in-person sessions in Dublin. I do not offer online services at this time.

How long are sessions?
Sessions last 50 minutes and take place weekly.

What is your fee?
My standard fee is €60 per session.

How do I book a session?
You can contact me directly via the contact form on this site. I’ll arrange a brief initial chat to discuss what you're looking for and how we might work together.

What can I expect in the first session?
Our first session is an opportunity to get a sense of each other. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy and discuss how I might support you.

How long will I need therapy?
It varies from person to person. Some clients come for a short period to work on a specific issue; others stay longer for deeper personal exploration. We’ll review our work regularly to make sure it meets your needs.

Is everything confidential?
Yes, confidentiality is a central aspect of our work. There are rare exceptions related to safety or legal requirements, which I will explain in full detail before we begin.

Are you accredited?
I am a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and adhere to their professional code of ethics.
